WARNING: This video may be too violent for people with delicate sensibilities to watch. It contains an absolutely beautiful work of art; a move as fast as greased lightning, as graceful as a ballerina, and as "on target" as a guided missile. But, if you love speed, power, and beauty then this is a work of art. Josh Liu is a Master of the Game, and he is at the top of his game. If you believe that a trained mind/body/ spirit is the ultimate weapon, then feast your eyes on a thing of beauty.

ReplyDeleteI just hope this poor kid has the spiritual strength to continue his Taekwondo training. He surely may suffer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and verb Traumatic Brain Syndrome (TBS).
ReplyDeleteDid Mohammad Ali ever get hit this hard? I can hear his teeth crack on the video.
ReplyDeleteWhen you go into the USTigers.' Den, you are in the Lion's Den. You better beware; Master Dennis Kim has trained these guys, and they take no prisoners.
ReplyDeleteWhen USTigers go off to a tournament, they always bring home the bacon. Good job, Josh. Don't punish yourself or feel any remorse for your opponent. His coach certified that he was "good to go". If anyone is looking to assign blame here, it belongs with the adults, the coaches.
ReplyDeleteThis TKO may result in PTSD. He may even suffer TBS. Josh Lou's haymaker was the equivalent of a roadside IED set off in Iraq or Afghanistan.
ReplyDeleteHow did this kid make it to the finals. He was out-classed and out-gunned. He brought a slingshot to a gun fight. Josh unleashed a howitzer.
ReplyDeleteDon't blame Josh for being good. He was doing his duty. Don't hate the player; hate the game. No!! You cannot even hate the game. Hate the coach, the man who sent this kid into the Lion's Den. He was a lamb to the slaughter.
ReplyDeleteI heard that this kid had previously been beaten on points by about 26 to 1. What does that tell you? His coach needs to re- examine his priorities. The safety of your team members is always number one.
ReplyDeleteMy friend who is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fan says he has never seen that move before. He thinks the MMA crowd will try to copy it. Master Dennis Kim should take out a patent on it, fast.
ReplyDeleteWe have an elimination system that prevents such mis-matches. This kid was not in the same league as Josh.
ReplyDeleteThe poor kid did not move in or out. We have punching bags in the gym that move faster than that.
ReplyDeleteWow. That was target practice. This kid was a sitting duck.
